It looks good!!! My art we bought would look good!! I know you will find the right thing to put up there!!
For the dining room: I see a row of B&W Parisian photos in simple black frames, like Robin has in her bedroom (?). Inexpensive and available, takes up a lot of room until you decide on something else. Or a mural! Get going, Renée!Pamela
